Come Out to the Healing Justice Fair on October 25
We can only thrive long-term in our struggles for liberation when we're rooted in practices that nourish our spirits and our connections to one another. That's why we're bringing together restorative justice organizers and wellness practitioners from across Philadelphia for an afternoon of healing, education, and connection.
Please join us at the Tiffany Fletcher Recreation Center from 12:00 - 4:00 PM on Saturday, October 25. The afternoon will feature:
🧘🏿 Yoga, sound baths, and liberation reiki.
🎨 Art-making, music, and creative expression
✨ Restorative justice education & safety alternatives
🌿 Ecological and health justice with and for Black folks
🫶🏿 Resources supporting local mutual aid and harm reduction
This Healing Justice Fair is a free, public event to center the healing of individuals and communities impacted by community trauma, including interpersonal harm and systemic oppression. Through accessible workshops, wellness practices, mutual aid, and creative expression, we will create a sacred space for rest, resistance, and collective care.
The event will feature multiple healing “zones” that speak to the diverse needs of our communities. We will be joined by Reclaim Philadelphia, Healing Communities PA, Blackwell Cultural Alliance, Black Bird Rising, Dynamic Justice Collective, Office of CM O’Rourke, Office of CM Gauthier, Office of Rick Krawjeski, The Brigade, Our Revolution, Collective Climb, Philly Black Workers Project, and Prevention Point Philly, among others.
Kids are welcome and free food will be available from Food Not Bombs West Philly! Come through to build community and receive nourishment for the struggle.
