Monday, March 1st: Reopening Hope at the Board of Pardons Event

A graphic reads Reopening Hope at the Board of Pardons

On March 11, Governor Wolf finally signed off on the releases of thirteen people, who had all won the unanimous recommendation of the Board of Pardons through hard fought struggle.

Next week, at least 4 more people who have worked tirelessly to turn their lives around will go in front of the Board asking for mercy after decades of incarceration. On Monday, March 1st, join us in celebrating people’s liberation, and getting grounded in the struggle ahead. Register for the event here

Hear from people who have recently come home through commutation, the loved ones of people still trapped inside, and organizers at Amistad Law Project. We’ll have the chance to celebrate together, honor those still inside, and learn about how we can organize to bring people home to their communities.
